Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliners

Working 24/7

Hello All! I wanted to this review on an eyeliner that I have been LOVING lately! It is the Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners. I am recently loving their black called Zero. I have had horrible luck with eyeliners in the past. This is the first eyeliner that I have tried that isn't from the drugstore or Avon. The other eyeliners that I have tried in the past have NOTHING on this eyeliner.

Some of the reasons why I love this eyeliner is the fact that it is very creamy when you apply it. It takes no warming up on your hand to be glide across your eyelid. It instantly transfers to your eyelid or waterline. Another thing that sets this apart is the staying power. It really does live up to its name of 24/7. I have had no problem with it running from my lower lash line or fading on my upper lash line. It does lose intensity on the waterline but that is understandable due to the amount of moisture that is in that area.

My only problem with this product is that it is in a pencil format and you have to sharpen it. I would absolutely love if this product was in an automatic pencil format. But we can't win them all haha. I have a few other colors like the brown (Demolition) and purple (Rockstar) but I haven't used them quite as much as Zero.

Overall I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a good eyeliner that stays in place. It is a little pricey when it comes eyeliners. It is $19.00 and is sold at Urban Decay online, Ulta and Sephora stores. If you have any further questions for me about this product feel free to leave them in the comments below!

Benefit 10 Boxed Powder Review

Make it a 10

Hello all! I wanted to give you all a quick review on one of my favorite products. It is Benefit's 10 boxed powder. I bought it when I was in Paris this summer and haven't stopped using it since. It is boxed powder with a bronzer on one side and a highlight on the other side. While in Dublin, I accidentally broke mine but I ended up being able to fix it so that is why it looks weird in the pictures. Also as I was using it the other day, the highlight side broke again....just my luck haha.

Getting on with the review, I wanted to share my uses for each side as well as any thoughts I have on it. First off, the bronzer side isn't completely matte. It has some shimmer in it, not filled with glitter. It does leave the face with somewhat of a sheen. I still use it as a light contour but I like the look it gives me with the blush I use with it. The best uses for it would probably be for warming up the face if you like to use matte bronzers to contour.

The highlighter side is beautiful pink, shimmery highlight. I LOVE this highlight. I would probably repurchase it just for the highlight side. I use it to highlight my cheekbones. It gives the perfect sheen to my face and really helps to give dimension to my face. I also use it to set my under-eye concealer (Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Bright) just to help wake up my eyes and brighten the area. It works perfectly with the salmony color that the concealer has.

All in all, I really love this boxed powder and will most likely repurchase it! Actually, I take that back! I will repurchase this product. I am in love with the highlight and what it does. I really recommend this product to those who are looking for a perfect highlight as well as great bronzer to warm up your complexion. This product retails for $28.00 at Benefit Cosmetics online as well as Ulta and Sephora stores.

If you have any further questions about this product feel free to leave a comment below! Thanks for stopping by!

Tarte Gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara

Mascara Review

I wanted to inform you all about an AMAZING mascara I've been using for the last month. I received this mascara in a Tarte gift set from my boyfriend for our anniversary. I was a little skeptical about it because I have only heard about the Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara from Tarte, but this mascara definitely proved that it was well worth the risk.

(photo is from sephora.com

3 Components
The three main components of this mascara that set it apart from all of the other mascaras that I have tried include the formula, the wand, and how the mascara wears.

1st Component
The first thing about this mascara that quickly made it my favorite is the fact that it is a mix between a wet and dry formula. The formula is wet enough to allow for multiple coats without having to wait or the lashes clumping together. But the formula isn't dry enough where you feel like it is difficult to apply or leaving clumps of mascara in your lashes (which I have had problems with in the past).

2nd Component
The second thing that made me fall in love with this mascara is that the wand is big without being obnoxiously large (like the Cover Girl Lash Blast wand). The wand doesn't have a curve in it like most new mascaras and has traditional bristles. It tapers at the end a little that allows for me to get the little and sparse lashes that are in the inner corner.

3rd Component
The final aspect of this mascara is how long the mascara wears throughout the day. I haven't had any problem with this mascara flaking throughout the day. It isn't waterproof but it is very long wearing. Another factor of this mascara that I enjoy is that it keeps my eyelashes flexible. I don't feel as though my lashes are going to break off due to how hard the mascara may have made them. I have had many problems with other mascaras that make me scared to even try to take them off for the fear of having lashes broken off.

All in all, I would really recommend this mascara to anyone who looks for similar things withing a mascara. You can find it at Sephora (sephora.com), Ulta (ulta.com), or Tarte online (tartecosmetics.com). It sells for $19.00 which is a little bit on the pricey side but I promise that it is worth it!

Want A Chiseled Face?

Contour Your Face

Wanna learn how to contour your face? Well here is a step by step guide to defining features of your face. Contouring is all about making the most of your natural features or faking it until you make it. This will help to bring dimension to your face. What you will need is a matte or almost matte bronzer that is darker than your skin color as well as a contouring brush. Ok, enough about what it is and what you need....lets get started!

Step 1
What you will need to do first is make a fish face! After making a fish face identify the place where your cheeks sink in a little and make a shadow.

Step 2
Once you have found that shadow, we will swirl our brush in the bronzer and tap off the extra. Make sure to tap the extra off to avoid any fall out. If you are inexperienced with contouring, you may need to make the fish face while contouring to give guidelines.

Step 3
Lets contour! Use your brush to define your cheekbones by moving in small circular motions along the shadow line. You don't want to move your brush back and forth but rather circular motions moving up towards your cheekbone. This will help to give a more realistic effect rather than a dark line on your face.

Step 4
Once you have finished contouring your cheekbones, you can move on to your temples. You will want to work in a half-circle around your eyes near the hairline. While doing this, you can go back and forth.

Step 5
If you have a larger forehead or want a more contoured face, you can contour around the hairline above the forehead going back and forth.

Step 6
The last step is contouring the jawline. To contour the jawline, you will contour right along the bottom of the jaw and then work down the neck to help and prevent a line. This will help to create the effect of a more defined jaw.

One quick way to remember contouring is the 3 method. If you think about it, the hairline on the forehead is the top of the 3, the temple is the round part, the cheekbone is the middle, and the jawline is the bottom.

I hope that this was helpful and that it really helps to make contouring easier.

October Favorites!

October Favorites

Here are my favorites from the month of October. I really can't believe that it is almost Thanksgiving and then Christmas. I wanted to share with everyone the favorites that I have rediscovered from this month. I have used these products either every single day or majority of the month.

1.) Estee Lauder Blush in Pink Cloud - 04

(swatch with flash)
This blush is a product that I have had for awhile but it never really got much love from me. I decided to use it for a couple days and fell in love. I love the color for fall! The pigmentation is nice, not overly pigmented but you don't have to scrub your brush in it to get color pay off. It has the ever slightest sheen to it but not at all sparkly. It will give you that nice healthy glow look. I kick myself for never really paying any attention to this blush before.

2.) Benefit 10 Boxed Powder

This boxed powder was my one beauty purchase while I was in Paris this summer. I dropped it and it shatter right before I left. I was devastated but I managed to fix it when I got back to Ireland. I am thankful that I was able to because I have used this product every single day this month and the month before as well. I love the highlight side to use under my eyes to brighten up my dark circles. The pink color of the highlight helps to mask the dark blueness under my eyes and gives me an awake look. I also love using this as my cheekbone highlight. The bronzer side of this boxed powder has been in a love hate battle with me. I love the color but it can tend to look a little orange when over-applied. The lighting in my room is horrible so I tend to have a hard time with bronzer. It also has some sheen to it, meaning that it isn't completely matte and this makes it tricky to use as a contour. Other than that, it is a great bronzer.

3.) Urban Decay De Slick Setting Spray

I love this product! I have raved about it before on my blog and I have repurchased it multiple times. I use this product as a primer on my face as well to set my makeup once I am all done. It really helps to bring normality to my face after I'm finished. I tend to use all powder products on my face and this helps to set the powder for my day. I cannot talk about how much I love this product!

4.) Tarte Gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara

I have just started using this mascara towards the end of this month and really enjoyed what it has done for my lashes. I was using a Jemma Kidd mascara that I picked up while abroad but it flaked throughout the day. So I switched to this one and instantly saw that the Jemma Kidd mascara was doing nothing for my lashes. The brush on this mascara is a traditional brush but the bristles are stuff and help to separate my lashes. The formula helps to lengthen and volumize my lashes. If you are looking for the false lashes effect from this mascara, you will be disappointed. BUT you will be pleased with what it can do to enhance your lashes.

5.) Too Faced Moon Beam Eyeshadow
(swatch with flash; left without base & right with base)
I purchased this product on Hautelook when they featured Too Faced and wasn't exactly sure what I was going to use it for. One day I got a little experimental and decided to try it along my upper lash-line as an eyeliner. I instantly fell in love with the way it enhanced my eye look. It has a slight iridescent sheen to it due to the marbling in it. I usually switch it up with the black in the NudeTude palette. I am absolutely ecstatic that this was an  impulse buy.

I hope that you enjoyed getting to know what products I have enjoyed throughout the month of October. If you give them a try feel free to let me know what you think of them in the comments. Also, if you have any product recommendations for me, leave them in the comments!

NudeTude Palette (theBalm)

 NudeTude Neutral Eye Shadow Palette

I wanted to do a review today for you all. As I was trying to decide what I was going to review, it popped into my head that I should review the NudeTude Palette. I have been using this like crazy and I'm completely in love. This is the perfect neutral palette that you can grab and be set for a weekend at home, vacation, or if you're a college student a break at home. This is my go to palette when I am in a hurry and don't want to think about what shadows to pair or don't know what to do for my eye makeup.

(with artificial lighting)

(with natural lighting)

I want to talk about the pigmentation of these eye shadows. They are very pigmented and a little goes a long way. I made the mistake the first time of using as much as I would with most of my drug store eye shadows. Lets just say that I had to start my eyes over...oops! I absolutely love how pigmented the black shadow is. I use it as my liner on my upper lashes. I enjoy using this shadow more than any of my gel or liquid eye liners.

(with flash and eye shadow base)
Note: all shadows are in the order as placed in the palette

(without flash and with eye shadow base)

The blend-ability of these shadows rivals that of my MAC eye shadows. I love using these shadows when doing other people's makeup because they blend like a dream and I can breeze through the eyes. I believe that the blend-ability of these eye shadows is due to how creamy the shadows are. I actually believe that they are the creamiest eye shadows that I own.

(a closer look at all of the names of the shadows)

One last thing I want to add is that there are some shadows with some glitter and some shadows with a little bit of shimmer. There are only 3 matte colors in this palette. If you are looking for a palette that has an equal ratio of shimmer to matte shadows...this isn't it. BUT it is still an amazing palette nonetheless and I still recommend it.

This palette is a little on the pricey side ($36.00) but if you catch it on Hautelook (www.hautelook.com) at a discounted price (I bought mine for $18.00). You can find it everyday at www.thebalm.com .

 as always <3,
Corinne

P.S. I recently used this on a friend and she LOVED the eye makeup.

Recent Obsessions

Recent Obsessions for Fall

Now that the seasons are changing, my beauty style is changing with it. With the start Fall starting today, I can already sense that I will be doing sultry eyes and deeper lips. I can't wait to try out some of the new Fall collections from different brands and do some reviews for those products. I just wanted to give you all a sense of my recent obsessions for fall.

Obsession # 1

My first obsession for Fall are more sultry eyes. Now that the weather is starting to cool down, I want to change up my look. I really like doing a deeper more sultry look for fall and winter. My favorite everyday eye for Fall right now uses the Wet n Wild trio Sweet as Candy. It is really pigmented and has a medium brown that really deepens the crease. I love that this trio is more cool and really corresponds with the cooling weather.

Obsession #2

My second obsession for Fall are deep lips. I am really started getting into bright lips during the summer and for Fall I want to keep the same trend but deepen it up a little bit. I am really loving the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. They are a pencil shaped balm that stains your lips. My new favorite color is Smitten, it is the perfect deep lip for everyday. I cannot express how much I recommend these products!

Obsession #3

My third and last obsession for Fall is colored denim. I know that this isn't directly a beauty related item BUT I cannot do Fall obsessions and not mention it. I am really obsessed with colored denim and using them to mix up my wardrobe. I must admit that I do not have the most fashion forward wardrobe but with colored denim, any outfit can go from cute to WOW! I really suggest the next time you are out to just look and maybe try a pair on. You may be amazed at how they can jazz up your wardrobe.

I really hope that you all give these things a try and love them as much as I do!

My Skincare Routine :)

My Skincare Routine

Today I wanted to share with you all my everyday skincare routine. Don't make fun of me for all the products I use but I do get quite a few compliments on the way that my skin looks. I am going to take you through my routine from when I wake up to right before I fall asleep. Here we go!

When I first wake up, I always wash my face with the Aveeno Clear Complexion Foam Cleanser. This is a really nice and gentle cleanser that helps to break down oils that may have accumulated on my face during the night.

After I have washed my face, I towel dry and then apply the Aveeno Clear Complexion Moisturizer. This a very light weight moisturizer that helps to keep my skin hydrated during the day.

Then once my moisturizer has set in, I add the Boots Vitamin E SPF15 Eye Cream under both eyes. This has a slight tint to it as well as SPF 15 that helps to keep my under eyes are protected from the sun's harmful rays.

Now throughout the day I try really hard not to touch my face because the oils on my fingers will transfer to my face and could possibly clog my pores. If I feel that I have touched my face a lot or been sweating a lot, I may grab a cotton ball and use an astringent on my face to just help clean it up. Now I haven't found my holy grail astringent yet but right now I am using the Clean and Clear astringent for Sensitive Skin. P.S. I only do this on days that I am not wearing any face makeup (i.e. foundation, blush, bronzer, and highlighter).

At night I take a shower and while in the shower I cleanse my face with the Aveeno Clear Complexion Cream Cleanser. Now the reason I use the cream cleanser instead of the foam one like in the morning is because the cream one is a light exfoliator. It isn't abrasive like most face exfoliators instead it has little micro-beads that do the work.

Once I am out of the shower, I towel dry my face and then use the Equate Night Time Firming Cream all over my face as well as down my neck. I rub this in pretty well and then let it set in for a few minutes. Then I go in with my Equate Advanced Firming Eye Cream and take a very very small amount and place half of the amount I took and put it under one eye and repeat on the other eye.

This is my everyday skincare routine that works really well for me. All of the Aveeno products were recommended to me by my dermatologist. She said they are the best things you can buy over the counter for keeping your complexion in tip top condition. I hope that if you give this a try it works as well for you as it does myself.

P.S. All of these items can be found at Wal-Mart (i.e. the Aveeno products are sold at Super Wal-Marts).

European Favorites!

My European Favorites

Hola all! I know I have been away for a very long time but...I am back! I am currently in Ireland studying abroad for part of my summer. Now you know that I couldn't come to a foreign country and not try some European beauty product! I mean come on, I am a total beauty product addict. I have actually heard of all of the products that I tried before I even came over to Ireland. I have four beauty products and one random food item to tell you all about.

The first product I want to rant and rave about is Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter. This is my holy grail hand and body moisturizer. I purchased a little travel on the second week I was here and pretty much used it all up. The smell is so clean and fresh and the product does not leave you with the oily feeling like most moisturizers. I cannot wait to come back to the states and purchase a full size one at Sephora!

The second product is one that I went out on a limb to try and it is the 17 BB cream from Boots (a European drugstore).  I wanted to try a European BB cream and this one seemed like a good one and the price wasn't half bad. I picked it up about two weeks ago and fell in love instantly. I don't like heavy coverage with my foundations and this seems to give that light, flawless coverage that I need. I am a little disappointed that when this product is gone I won't be able to repurchase it. Although that means I can try new products!

The third product is my new day eye cream from Boots and it is the Vitamin E Gentle Eye Cream with SPF 15. This eye cream is great because it has just a little bit of tint to it that helps to combat dark under eye circles. Another reason I love this eye cream is that it has SPF 15 in it that helps to protect my delicate under eye area from harmful sun rays. I love it so much that I bought back ups!

The last beauty product is one that I may be able to find in the USA and it is the Palmer's Coca Butter Formula Firming Butter. This product smells AMAZING! I cannot stress how much this product makes me want to eat it. It smells exactly like warm chocolate and I can't help but crave chocolate when I use it. I haven't noticed if it has been firming or toning my skin yet but I love it for the smell and moisture it gives my skin.

My final European favorite are Gummy Bears! I know that they have these back home but I have recently rediscovered them and can't stop myself from eating them all day long. They are just so good and I cannot remember why I ever stopped eating them when I was back home.

Well thanks for joining me for my European favorties! I hope that you give these products a try if you ever find yourself in Europe!

March Favorites!

March Top 5!

These are my top 5 products from the month of March! I hope you give them a try and enjoy them as much as I have!!

1.) Sally Hansen Lacey Lilac

This nail polish is PERFECT for spring!!! I love this nail polish in many different ways, one is that it is incredibly beautiful, it is opaque, and has good staying power! This polish is very cost effective as well, I purchased it at Wal-Mart for under $4.00. You can't get a better pastel purple for this price, really it is IMPOSSIBLE!

2.) Hard Candy So Baked Bronzer in tiki

I have loved using this bronzer as a highlight for my cheekbones. It has just the right about of sheen to it and gives me that just sun kissed look. I also purchased this at Wal-Mart for around $9.00. It is a little pricey but it will last me for a REALLY long time because every time I use very little product. I just cannot say how much I have enjoyed this product!

3.) Rimmel Smokey Brun Eyeshadow Quad

This has been my go to look for pretty much all of March! These colors compliment my eyes and skin color and are very easy to use. They blend very well and you can build them up to get more opaque colors. I have gotten so many compliments on this quad and I can definitely see myself repurchasing this when I run out of it. I purchased it at Wal-Mart for around $4.00 (there seems to be a theme here, haha).

4.) Mark Eyelash Curler

I love my Mark eyelash curler! I have had since high school and never really started using it until recently. I use this right before I apply my mascara and it does wonders for my lashes. I high recommend using an eyelash curler, it can be any one really but you will definitely see a difference. I purchased this one from my mom's friend who sells Avon and Mark.

5.) Outspoken Perfume by Fergie
This perfume is like my signature going out scent and I feel as though it fits that exact description. Avon describes it as "An outrageously bold expression of iced berry shockingly contrasted with ultra-feminine tuberose absolute and racy black leather". I always spritz myself 2-3 times right before I head out and I can definitely still smell at least 2 hours later. I can't ask for a better scent to make you feel HOT!

I hope you have enjoyed my monthly favorites!! Please let me know if you try any of these out or if you want me to try any products you love. Comment below and I will be sure to respond!

Quick Update

I'm Still Alive....I Promise!

So, I have been gone for quite awhile but I have some excuses (typical, right?)!

Excuse #1

So, I was on spring break 2 weeks ago. You would think that this would be time for me to blog my little heart away BUT it wasn't. I worked 38 hours while I was home for 7 days. I worked my little tail off at McDonald's and make some money!!! Although most of my break was spent working, I did manage to escape for about 20 hours and visit some friends at Edwardsville. This is where I met one of my major crushes, Seth Meyers. I cannot explain how I felt when I watched his show in the front row, when he yelled at me for taking a picture that I wasn't supposed to take, or having him sign my ticket and being VERY close to him. It was the greatest 3 hours of my life (to this day).

Excuse #2

Once I returned back to school from break, I was overloaded with school work that I had neglected during break. When I returned on Sunday, I had 3 papers to write along with attending class and work. I was just so busy and overwhelmed that all I focused on was school and work for the entire first week back to school. BUT all my hard work paid off because I got A's on 2 of my papers (the other one hasn't been returned yet) and made money!!! Can you see a theme ($$$)? HAHAHA

Excuse #3
My last excuse is that I am working on maybe starting a YouTube video series. It has been brought to my attention by a friend who reads my blog that YouTube would be a good asset to my blog. I just recently got a camera with video recording for Christmas. I also set up a YouTube channel already and I am working on some ideas on what I can film. Please leave comments on what types of things you would like to see on that channel. I would really love feed back so that I can give you all what you want.

I am working on 2 blogs right now and will hopefully have them up very soon!!!

Corinne

Spring/Summer 2012 Nail Polish Trends

Spring/Summer Nail Polish Collections
I want to share with you all some spring/summer nail polish trends I have been seeing in magazines and recent nail polish collection releases. The brands I mention are kind of pricy and may not be available for everyone to go out and purchase. If you have any brands you want me to investigate, feel free to comment and I will do some digging ;).

OPI
OPI is a brand that I am absolutely in love with!! It has a great application brush, stay power, and the colors are very opaque colors. Almost all of my nail polishes are OPI and I love them all! Their spring collection that was released definitely stuck to the typical spring pastel colors but they also had some bright and dark colors for summer as well. I was pleasantly surprised with some of the colors they released and can't wait to get my hands on a couple for this spring. I absolutely love Thanks a Wind-Million and I don't give a Rotterdam, these two colors would be beautiful if you did one color for all your nails and then on the ring finger did an accent nail of the other color. But I must say that my favorite is Dutch ya just love OPI just because it is that beautiful true purple (my favorite color) and this would be gorgeous on my toe nails with some cute sandals.

Essie
Now Essie truly stuck with the pastel colors that are typically associated with spring with two bright fun colors. Now I love Essie but OPI is still my favorite. Essie is still one of those quality polishes that is definitely worth the extra couple dollars because it is opaque and has great staying power. My favorite color in this collection is definitely a crewed interest due to the fact that it is a beautiful soft peachy color. I think that this would look great on almost anyone. One color I'm a little skeptical about is the green, navigate her, due to the fact that I look at it and think that is different but if it were on my nails I would feel self-conscious that people would think that I had fungus (especially if it was on my toes). But overall I think that Essie's spring collection is very pretty and I'm just waiting to get my hands on a crewed interest.

Butter London

Lastly, I want to talk about the most expensive brand but has the most beautiful colors EVER!!! I am absolutely in love with all of these colors that they released!!! I am just waiting for a sale so that I can get my hands on all of them!!! At $14.00 a bottle they are pricy and may be out of reach of most people but we can lust can't we ;). I cannot wait to get my hands on two particular colors Trout Pout and Knackered. I have seen reviews on these two colors in particular and they just raved over these colors. They are opaque and just as beautiful as beautiful can be!!! I also am drawn to Slapper as a very pretty teal color that is my second favorite color so I feel like it would be a good color to use as an accent nail for the OPI's Dutch ya just love OPI.

I hope that you enjoyed this introduction to some Spring/Summer nail polish trends for 2012. As I mentioned before, feel free to comment and leave any requests you have for more nail polish trends for different brands. Also, feel free to leave comments on things you want to see me review or talk about.

Corinne

Want in on a secret?

Lush!!!!

Want in an all natural secret? Then you've come to the right place...the secret is that you don't have to look any further than Lush! (Click Here For Direct Link ) It is an all natural, fresh handmade cosmetics store. They also have vegan and organic options!! You have to love the great things that this store has to offer for you and for the environment. I fell in love with this store and all it has to offer when I came across it in the Orlando airport on my way to Disney World and I haven't looked back since.

Secret #1

The first secret that I discovered when I came across Lush in Orlando, Fl is that this particular store will ship most things for FREE!!! Now you don't understand how happy I was when the cashier told me this! I am for a small town and this particular town is 2 hours North and/or 5 hours South of the only two Lush stores I am aware of. And lets just say that the shipping for Lush products aren't the cheapest either. So I asked the cashier what the catch was and she laughed (like she had heard that before) and handed me a card. It had their phone number and address on it. She told me that all I had to do was call the number and place my order and they will put it together and ship it for FREE! The reason they do this is because they are in an airport and it is hard to travel and purchase a lot of cosmetics, especially ones that are fresh and handmade. I have placed orders with them and I haven't had any trouble at all. The one downfall is that they don't ship things that may melt in the mail (i.e. bath melts, massage bars, etc). The number if you are interested is 1-407-825-3174.

Secret #2

Secret #2 is just a little trick to help you get the most out of your purchases (especially bath melts, bath bombs, and bubble bars). If you take the products and cut them up (bath melts) into two pieces, you can get two baths just as luxurious than if you had used it all in one. And most bath bombs can be split into two pieces with a flat-head screwdriver, a hammer, and a gallon plastic bag. Just place the bath bomb in the plastic bag, find the seam on the bath bomb, place the screwdriver on the seam and then gently tap the hammer on the butt of the screwdriver until it splits. It may have some debris come off and that is why you have the plastic bag. Note that not all bath bombs can be split, but most can be. And if you have a bubble bar, you can just break pieces off or if you want to be more precise you can use a knife.

Secret #3

The last secret is one that you don't want to miss...these products are amazing!! This is a shameless plug for how much I love this company. I have been so pleased with majority of the products I have purchased from them. Note that I did not enjoy every single product, but that happens with almost every relationship; you have your ups and downs haha.

I hope you have enjoyed this review/plug for an amazing company that I am in love with. If you have any questions or need recommendations on products, feel free to leave a comment!!

Feburary Favorites!

 February Top 5!

These products are my favorite products for the month of February! I hope that you try these products and love them as much as I do!!

1.) Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm

I love this lip balm and how much it moisturizes my lips! Since it is winter and very windy, my lips are so chapped throughout the day. I never leave my room without this lip balm in my pocket. It is the perfect peppermint scent! It gives my lips the moisture that they crave while also giving a soothing feelings when it is applied. One thing I love about this brand is that they use recycled materials and do not test on animals. (Can be purchased at almost all drug stores, prices vary)

2.) Physicians Formula Blushing Glow Blush

This blush does wonders for my complexion, it is the perfect shade for my fair skin and complements my red hair. I love how it gives me that natural, I just ran around the play ground color on my cheeks. I cannot say enough how much I have enjoyed this blush this past month and have definitely made a dent in it (I hit pan!).(Can be purchased at almost all drug stores, prices vary)

3.) Palladio Cafe Latte Baked Eyeshadow Trio
I love this eyeshadow trio for an easy everyday look. It gives your eyes that wash of color without being too overbearing. I love that these colors are not glittery but have a nice sheen to them. I have used this trio in the morning almost every day this past month and couldn't be happier with how easy it is to use and how much I love the look! (Can be purchased at Sally Beauty Supply around $3.00)

4.) Victoria's Secret Pink Soft & Pure Body Splash

This body splash is the perfect scent if you love just smelling clean. I am absolutely in love with this scent and have used half of it this month! I love how it gives me that just showered smell (and who doesn't want to smell like they just stepped out of the shower?). The only thing that makes me not want to use this scent is that it is discontinued :( and that makes me want to save it! (Is discontinued, sorry!)

5.) Physicians Formula Solar Powder Light Bronzer
Lastly, is this bronzer that is PERFECT for contouring my cheekbones, temples, and anything else I want to contour. It is matte (except for the yellow sun in the middle) and perfect for giving that illusion of perfect cheekbones. I also love using this to give myself that natural bronze look all over my face and down my neck (for blending!). (Can be purchased at almost all drugstores, prices vary)

I hope that you all enjoyed this post about my top 5 February products!! Please leave a comment below about any products that you think I should try and maybe they will make an appearance in my upcoming favorite blogs!!
